1 pound lean ground beef 3/4 cup Quaker Oats (Quick or Old-Fashioned, uncooked) 3/4 teaspoon garlic powder 3/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 teaspoon salt (optional) 2 14.5 ounce cans no-salt-added stewed tomatoes 2 cups coarsely chopped onion 1/4 cup water 2 tablespoons soy sauce 5 teaspoons cornstarch 5 teaspoons sugar 2 cups coarsley chopped bell peppers | | | Combine beef, oats, garlic powder, pepper, and salt; mix well. Shape into 3/4 inch balls. Combine meatballs and remaining ingredients except bell peppers. Heat over medium-low heat until boiling; reduce heat. Cook 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
