Pepper Steak

1/4 c. flour
1 1/2 lb. round steak
2 tbsp. shortening
1 can tomato soup
1/2 to 1 c. water
1 large green pepper, cut into strips
1 medium onion, sliced
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tbsp. lemon juice
4 thin slices lemon
Coat steak with flour and brown on both sides in shortening in a skillet. Add remaining ingredients, cover, and cook on low for 45 minutes, stirring often. Add extra water if needed.
