| Heat oven to 325 ยบ F -Thread meat on bamboo, alternating beef and pork cubes. -Place approximately 7 or 8 cubes on each stick. -Lightly "salt" with Adolph's tenderizer -Dust each with flour. -Heat Crisco and butter in heavy skillet. -Brown meat sticks to a golden color. -Add garlic powder (to taste) and black pepper. -Place browned meat sticks in greased roaster. -Add 1/4 cup water to roasting pan. -Cover and roast approximately 1 hour. -Drippings can be used for gravy, but gravy is unnecessary for this feast. Roast at 325 degrees 1 hour. |
