Party Pie

This is a refrigerated pudding pie recipe that has been passed down to me from my mother-in-law. My husband loves this, and requests this tasty kid-friendly dessert for all special occasions. The main ingredients for this dessert are chocolate pudding, vanilla pudding, cool whip, and nuts. Sounds like a winner to me!

This also goes well with 4th of July, or summer type celebrations.

1st. Layer:

2 cups Crushed Graham Crackers
1 cup Flour
1 stick Butter or Margarine
1 cup chopped Nuts

2nd. Layer:

1 cup Powdered Sugar
1 cup Cool Whip
8 oz. Cream Cheese - softened!

3rd. Layer

1 small package instant Vanilla Pudding
1 small package instant Chocolate Pudding
2 cups cold Milk

4th. Layer

Cool Whip
Chopped Nuts

Instructions:

1. Mix graham cracker crumbs, flour, melted butter, and chopped nuts.
2. Form into a 9x13 baking dish.
3. Bake at 350 for 20 minutes.
4. Allow to cool
5. Mix Powder Sugar, Cool Whip, and Cream Cheese
6. Place on top of cooled graham cracker crust
7. Mix Vanilla Pudding, Chocolate Pudding, and cold Milk.
8. Place on top of sugar - cool whip mixture.
9. Place Cool Whip on layers.
10. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.

Allow to chill for 3 hours and then EAT!
