Pecan Pie

1 1/2 cups log cabin syrup
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups pecan halves
3 eggs, slightly beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
1 unbaked 9" pie shell
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Combine syrup, butter and sugar in saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Cool slightly. Place pecans into pie shell. In bowl, combine eggs, vanilla and salt. Gradually add to syrup mixture. Pour mixture over pecans. Bake for 35-40 minutes. Cool on wire rack.
