| Slice the bananas and lay them on the bottom of the pie crust, (along the sides of the crust, too, if desired). Add the can of cherry pie filling on top of the bananas. Top with Cool Whip as thick as you like it. Chill thoroughly. Tastes better the next day as the bananas permeate the pie. Delicious! This is so easy to make and great to take to a potluck. Keep the store bought pie crust lid to have as the cover. You can substitute almost any canned pie filling, but I think cherry tastes the best. Submitted by Cindy Smith
