| Cream butter until soft; add brown sugar. Add egg yolks and beat until light. Blend in the sifted flour. Form 1-inch balls. Roll balls into egg whites, then into chopped pecans. Put on a greased cookie sheet and make a thumbprint in the middle of the cookie. Bake at 300 degrees for 5 minutes. Remove from oven and make the thumbprint impression again.
