| Cream together shortening, sugar and molasses until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs. Sift together flour, Salt, soda, Ginger, mace, Cinnamon and Cloves. Add to creamed mixture alternately with sour milk. Beat well. Stir in raisins. Drop from teaspoon onto greased baking sheet. Bake in a a moderately hot oven (375F) 15 minutes.
