Mississippi Mud Cake

1 1/2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup butter
1 3/4 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 cup pecans, toasted for 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven
Glaze:

1/2 cup sifted powdered sugar
2 tbsp. sifted cocoa powder
1 tbsp. melted butter
1 tbsp. half and half
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Grease and dust with cocoa a 9" bundt pan. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Sift the dry ingredients together. In a large bowl cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy. Add the eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla. Stir in flour just until it disappears. Pour into prepared pan. Bake for 45 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool for 10 minutes then turn out onto a cooling rack. Cool completely.

Mix glaze ingredients together until smooth. Add more cream if necessary. Drizzle over cake.
