German Apple Cake

2 c. sugar
1 tsp. soda
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. oil
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1 c. nuts
2 tsp. cinnamon
3 apples, sliced
Mix together by hand. Put in greased square pan. Bake at 350' until done, 30 to 35 minutes.
