Chocolate Nut Cake

1 cup butter
2 cups sugar
5 eggs
1 1/2 ounces unsweetened chocolate, melted
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 1/2 cups sifted flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup dairy sour cream
1 cup chopped nuts

Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, and beat thoroughly after each addition. Add chocolate and vanilla, and mix thoroughly. Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with cream, and nuts in thirds, beating smooth after each addition. Turn into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake at 325 degrees 1 hour.
