2 eggs 1 c. boiling water 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. buttermilk* 1 c. oil
*Instead of buttermilk, add 1 tablespoon vinegar to 1 cup milk and let stand for a few minutes--works fine! Pour in 9 x 13 inch pan, bake at 350' for about 45 minutes. (This tastes and keeps like old-fashioned sour cream cake.
