Swedish Pastries

Dough:
1 cup butter (not margerine)
2 cups sifted flour
1/3 cup cream

Filling:
1 cup icing sugar
1/4 cup butter or margerine
1 egg yolk
1 tsp vanilla

Mix the first set of ingredients together into a dough and chill for at least an hour. Roll out very thin - about 1/4 - 1/2 cm and cut with cookie cutters. Poke with a fork and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for 7 minutes.

Mix filling ingredients together to form icing.

When the cookies are cooled, make "sandwiches" using two cookies and icing in the middle.

Note: My Mom makes these every year at Christmas but they melt in your mouth any time of year!!
