1 c. flour 3 tbsp. vanilla 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 tbsp. rum 1/4 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. nutmeg 1 tsp. cinnamon 2 c. currants, ground 1/2 tsp. allspice 2 c. dates, ground 2 tsp. baking powder 2 c. raisins, ground 1/2 c. molasses 1 pkg. figs, ground 3/4 c. Crisco oil 1/2 pkg. dried apricots, ground Milk 3 eggs Sauce: 1/2 c. butter or oleo 1 tsp. vanilla 2 c. brown sugar 1 pt. whipping cream | | | Mix all dry ingredients then add ground fruit and mix until well covered. Add beaten eggs, oil, molasses, flavoring and enough milk to make soft dough. Pour into well greased pans and cook in pressure cooker for 1 1/2 hours at 8 pounds of pressure. To make sauce, cream butter, sugar and vanilla well. Add cream, 1 drop at a time, beating vigorously until cream is all added. Put on hot pudding and serve at once.
