1 can pear halves, well drained 6 gingersnaps, finely crushed 2 tbsp. sugar 2 tbsp. softened butter or margarine Vanilla ice cream | | | Heat oven to 300 degrees. Place pears in a casserole dish. Combine gingersnaps and sugar in a small bowl and blend well. Add butter and work with your fingers until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle over the pears. Bake 20 minutes. Serve warm with a scoop of ice cream. Serves 2. |
