1 package angel food cake mix 1 large package instant vanilla pudding mix 3 cups milk 3 large bananas, sliced 1 package frozen strawberries, thawed and drained or 1-1/2 cups fresh, sliced (if in season) 1 16-oz. can crushed pineapple, drained 1/4 cup chocolate syrup 1 container fat free whipped topping, thawed 1/2 cup walnuts, chopped | | | Prepare and bake cake, following package directions. While cake is baking, prepare pudding mix with milk, following package directions. When cake has cooled, divide in half. In trifle dish or large salad bowl, break up half the cake into bite-size pieces. Top with half of the pudding, half of the bananas, half of the strawberries, half of the pineapple, half of the syrup, half of the topping and half of the nuts. Repeat with remaining ingredients in order given. Chill until serving. Yield: 16-20 servings If the nuts are omitted, this recipe is completely fat free!
