1 cup flour 1/4 tsp. salt 3/4 cup sugar 2 tbsp. cocoa 2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 cup milk 2 tbsp. melted butter 1 cup finely chopped Pecans 1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar 1/4 cup cocoa 1 3/4 cup hot water 1 tsp. vanilla
Sift first five ingredients together in round Baking Dish. Add next three ingredients and stir all until well blended. Mix next three ingredients and sprinkle over the batter. Mix hot water and vanilla and pour over all and bake at 350ºF for 40-45 minutes. Serve warm or cold. Serves 6 This is a 1949 Recipe from a German community church in Wisconsin.
