Filling ------- 1 pound hamburger 4-6 cups finely chopped/shredded cabbage 1 small onion salt pepper Put all ingredients in skillet and cook until meat is completely done. For the dough you can use refrigerated crescent rolls or Pillsbury hot roll mix. If you use the crescent rolls, you will need 2 - 3 tubes and you need to stretch them out, be careful not to tear the dough. If you use the hot roll mix, prepare the dough, let it rise for about 20 minutes in a warm place. Then take a ball of it and roll it out on a floured surface. Cut squares or triangles out of the dough. Now take the dough (either kind) and place it in your palm and scoop the meat mixture into the dough, when it is full (not too full you have to close the dough around the mix) take a little water and rub on the edge of the dough to seal. Bake at 350 for 8-12 minutes (depends on the oven) the tops should be a light golden brown. We like to eat ours with mustard!! Enjoy!!! |
