4 cups of flour
2tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup margarine
2 cups sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
1/4 cup milk
Sift together first four ingredients.
Cream next four ingredients.
Add milk, then flour gradually.
Refrigerate dough until easy to handle.
Roll on lightly floured surface.
Cut with Christmas shaped cookie cutters
if you have them.
Place on greased cookie sheets.
Sprinkle with coloured sugar.
Go over sugar gently with a rolling pin.
Bake at 375'f for about 12 minutes.
Makes about 6 dozen cookies. May also be iced.
