leftover steak or roask cut in bite size pieces green pepper chopped 1/2 cup monterey Jack cheese 1/2 onion diced butter to grease loaf turn oven to 200 degrees warming it. Generously grease frozen bread loaf and place in oven to rise for four hours or longer. After risen place on baking sheet and flatten with hand somewhat out. Place all other ingredients on middle. Take ends of loaf on each side and fold up, then take sides of bread and fold to middle sealing with fingertips in cold water. Brush with butter and let raise 1/2 hour. Bake 350 degrees for about 35 minutes. Take out of oven when browned like bread and let cool 5 minutes. Slice and arrange neatly on a platter serving it with perhaps soup. Delicious and warm. Actually anything can be used in this bread roll as it is beautiful to even serve for company but is a quick dish to cook during the work week if the bread is readied early morning to raise. |
