1 lg. can spaghetti sauce 1 pkg. spaghetti sauce mix(in a sm pkg) 1 sm onion (minced) 2 or 3 cloves (minced garlic) 1 pkg. angel hair pasta 2 c dried italian bread crumbs 1 lg. egg(beaten slightly) 1 lb. pkg. hamburger meat salt and pepper to taste 1 lg. can of water (from the lg. can of spaghetti sauce) 1 med. can italian stewed tomatoes 1/2 lb thinnkly sliced monzrella or parmesean cheese (for top) and to stuff breasts if you want to olive oil Directions:In a lg. pot, first cook hamburger meat and onion and drain grease well. Add minced garlic. Add spaghetti mix and can of spaghetti sauce also italian stewed tomatoes plus rinse out lag can with the water to top. Sit aside and simmer on low. now take your chicken breast and salt and pepper them also a little powdered garlic. If you want to stuff them with cheese now is the time.Cut a slit and stuff with the cheese. Then dredge in beaten egg then dried italian bread crumbs. Coat bottom of lag electric skillet with olive oil medium heat. Place chicken breasts in skillet cook till slightly browned on both sides. Maybe 10 or 15 minutes per side. (they are thick). Now there will be alot of sauce so place enough sauce over the chicken breast to mostly cover them. Let them cook about 15 or 20 minutes longer. in a large pot meanwhile fill a large pot with water and a little salt let boil then add your angel hair pasta. cook till aldente. Add cooked pasta to the paltes, place a chicken breast top with a piece of monzerella or parmesean chees and drizzle a tiny bit of good olive oil. This is super fantstic. It is not hard at all. The sauce can be made days in advance. Enough to feed an army and have for family or for a dinner for company. Rivals OLive Garden |
