Filling: 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1 cup packed - brown sugar 1 egg - beaten 2 tbsp milk or water 1 tsp vanilla dried cranberries pecan halves - 12 Melt butter in saucepan then remove from heat and add brown sugar, milk, vanilla and beaten egg - stir vigourously until all ingredients are well blended. Place a few dried cranberries in the bottom of each tart shell. Fill with brown sugar mixture (almost to the top of tart shell), then top each tart with a pecan half. Bake at 350 for approx 15 to 20 minutes until pastry edges are golden brown. |
