3 Strips Bacon, Chopped 1 Medium Size Onion Chopped 1 Cup Water Salt & Pepper to taste Brown the bacon over a medium heat in a sauce pan. Add onion and sauté until lightly browned. Add 1 can of beans, water and seasoning. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes. Stir occasionally until thick sauce is developed. Best served with a fried egg on top. Add Italian or French bread, salad and your favorite beverage for a complete meal. |
