Cream of Broccoli Soup

1 large can of chicken broth
1 package frozen broccoli
3 potatoes, diced
1 onion, diced
2 carrots, diced
1 sprig celery, diced
1 pint heavy cream
Put all the vegetables into the broth and simmer until everything is tender. Then transfer small amounts to blender and process until smooth. Return the creamed mixture into the original soup pan. Heat the heavy cream in microwave for 2 minutes. Make sure that the container for the heavy cream is large enough to ensure that it will not bubble over. Pour the scaled cream into the soup mixture and season to taste.

Note: You can cook an additional package of broccoli and put into soup mixture to make it thicker.
