(For best results use 90 percent lean meat) 2 cans of DARK red kidney beans 2 small cans tomato sauce 1 cup of shreeded cheddar cheese Seasonings (To Taste) Chili powder (I recommend 3 tbsp) minced onion (If you use fresh onion the chili will be sweeter, I prefer dried) parsely flakes garlic powder salt & pepper Brown chopped meat.Add seasonings to taste, all but chili powder. Drain excess fat from meat. Add tomato sauce.Drain one can kidney beans& leave one undrained. Add to meat. Add chili powder and cook uncovered at a slow boil for a half an hour on medium heat. | |
