Sweet Potato Pie

Sweet Potato Pie Ingredients and Instructions

Four (4) Sweet Potatoes
2 Deep Dish Pie Crust
1 1/2 - 2 cups sugar
3 eggs
1 can evaporated milk
1 stick margarine (butter)
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon lemon flavoring (estract)
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring (extract)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them. Place the sweet potatoes in a pot of wate on top of the stove and let them cook (boil) for about 15 - 20 minutes.

Melt the margarine (butter) or you may let it sit and soften at room temperature.

Combine all ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well.

Pour the mixed well ingredients into the two pie crusts and place in the oven.

The oven temperature: 400 degrees

The baking time: 40 - 45 minutes.
