1 large canned ham Place ham in a large roasting pan and sprinkle with 1/2 of the brown sugar. Cover and bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Take the ham out of the oven, then cover with pinapple, cherries, and remaining brown sugar. Pour the cherry juice into the botto of the pan. Cover and return to the oven for an additional 30-45 minutes, basting with cherry juice every 10 minutes. To make this even more simple, throw all the ingredients into a large crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours. My mom always served this with mashed potatoes and corn, but I like it with a baked sweet potato and some green beans with almonds. |
