This is a great recipe. It can be made year round. It is made with frozen strawberries. My family loves it.1 - 6 oz pkg Strawberry Jello
2 pkgs - 10 oz Frozen Strawberries (thawed)
2 TBS sugar
Pinch of salt
1 Angel Food Cake
1 Pint Cool Whip (16oz)
In large bowl dissolve Jello in 2 1/2 cups of boiling water. Stir in thawed strawberries, sugar, and salt. Let cool until thick. Fold in cool whip. Cover bottom of 9x12 pan with 1/2 of the Angel food cake crumbled into bite size pieces. Pour over 1/2 the cream mixture. Layer other 1/2 of Angel food cake and pour over rest of cream mixture.
Refrigerate for 4-5 hours.
