Grind leftover beef or pork roast in processor or meat grinder along with l/2 an onion. Remove, and add 2 or 3 tsp. of pickle relish or cut up sweet pickles and miracle whip or mayonnaise to bind mixture. Serve on bread with slice of lettuce (add tomato if desired). My Mom made this all her life. She died at 88 and I am still making this family favorite.
