| Mix margarine and cream cheese. Stir in flour until soft dough forms. Cover and refrigerate until firm, at least 8 hours. Roll dough into 12 x 9 inch rectangle on cloth-covered board generously sprinkled with powdered sugar. Cut dough into 3 x 1 inch rectangles. Place 1 nut half on one end of each rectangle; roll up, beginning at 1-inch end. Pinch end and sides to seal. Place cookies, seam side down, on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until golden brown, 15 to 17 minutes; cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Makes 3 dozen. |
