Tomato Soup Cake

1 cup sugar,
1 can tomato soup,
1 1/2 cups flour,
1/2 cup raisins,
1/2 cup chopped walnuts,
1 teaspoon nutmeg,
1 teaspoon cinnamon,
1/4 teaspoon cloves,
1 teaspoon baking soda,
2 tablespoons melted butter
Cream butter and sugar. Sift together flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, cloves and baking soda. Add dry ingredients alternatly with tomato soup in small amounts, beating thoroughly after each addition. Stir in nuts and raisins. Pour into small greased and floured tube pan and bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 45 minutes or until cake tests done. A cream cheese frosting may be used on this cake if desired.
