2 1/4 cups all purpose flour, 1 teaspoon baking soda, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar, 1 1/2 cups butter--softened, 1 egg, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract, 1 12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate morsels, 1 1/2 cups coarsely chopped pecans | | | Preheat oven to 375 degrees. In small bowl, combine flour, baking soda and salt; set aside. In large bowl, combine brown sugar and butter; beat until creamy. Add egg and vanilla; mix well. Gradually blend in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate morsels and pecans. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 for 8-10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to stand for 3 minutes before removing from cookie sheets. Cool completely. Yield: about 4 dozen 3 1/4 inch cookies. |
