Minute Steak Stew

4 cube or minute steaks, about 3/4 pounds total,
2 tablespoons flour,
salt and pepper,
2 tablespoons butter,
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion,
1 cup canned mixed peas and carrots,
1/2 cup vegetable liquid,
1 8 ounce can tomato sauce
6-8 potatoes--cooked or canned
Cut steaks into 1 inch strips. Season flour with 1/2 teaspoon salt and 1/8 teaspoon pepper. Roll steak strips in flour mixture. Heat butter in skillet until bubbling. Add meat, brown well on all sides. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover skillet and simmer 10 minutes. 3 to 4 servings.
